For our client, one of the biggest IT Providers for the airline industry, we are currently looking for a Senior IT Procurement Analyst Software.

Requirement:

A minimum of 5 years' professional IT procurement experience and portfolio/vendor management experience is required. A must-have are sound experience with license models of e.g. ORACLE, MongoDB, Couchbase, Red Hat, VMware, IBM, Microsoft, BMC and others. Experience on e-sourcing tools (e.g. like Ariba or Coupa) in the context of Software purchasing would be a plus. A certified software asset manager or another Software Asset Management certification is a plus.

  • Experience in multinational environment
  • English negotiation and contract proficiency


Qualification:
  • Development of procurement strategies in line with corporate objectives
  • Maintain deep Software category expertise through understanding and application of industry developments, marketplace trends, emerging technology, new techniques, leading practices, and shared experiences
  • Review global Software category spend to identify and implement improvements, savings and demand management opportunities
  • Manage key global vendor relationships, including addressing driving savings through innovation and overall performance measurement
  • Lead global sourcing events, including development of project work plan, category profile, category strategy, minimum requirements and evaluation criteria, solicitation documents, vendor negotiations, award recommendations, agreement implementation plans, and savings measurement
  • Manage the execution and administration of global contracts, including initiating contract amendments, renewals, and terminations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with functional business areas, global and regional level purchasing teams for purposes of gathering, analysing and conveying information to support category management and sourcing efforts
  • Ensure category cards are developed and maintained on the Buyer Portal to help users identify and effectively use available contracts or preferred buying channels
  • Contributes to development and maintenance of content on Buyer Portal
  • Manages and facilitates the constructive resolution of issues and disputes
