System Architect / Software Architect (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Create system design and architecture on mid to high complex systems, platforms and modules for car audio systems from basic idea up to product launch
- Technical lead on development of platform and OEM specific car audio amplifiers
- Lead and coordinate the technical teams (HW, SW, ME) to ensure feasible and cost optimized product design
- Perform technical presentations directly with OEMs
- System definition based on analysis of customer requirements and define interfaces and requirements for HW, SW and ME according to system needs
- Generating detailed system block diagram under consideration of internal guidelines, best BOM cost, low power consumption, thermal design constraints and environmental conditions
- Develop verification plan and content for the designed system to secure the fulfilment or the key requirements
- Perform design reviews for each development stage about compliance of development parts to system design requirements to secure maturity
- Documentation of systems, verification results and platform definition to ensure compliance with both ASPICE and functional safety requirements
- Continuosly improve and routinise the cross-functional architecture process
Main qualifications
- Master or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical discipline
- Profound experience in designing embedded systems and as system architect (cross-disciplinary team lead)
- Experience in one or more of the following areas required: infotainment solutions, multiprocessor architecture, multimedia products within automotive
- Solid background in using modern development tools like DOORS, Enterprise Architect, JIRA, and system DFMEA
- In-depth knowledge of system architecture styles and design principles
- Broad knowledge of embedded HW and SW
- Leadership in coordinating the team work of various domains
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, German language skills are beneficial
