Description

Scientist with profound Data Analysis knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • Lab Assistant with EFZ in Biology, Bachelor Degree or equivalent training with general understanding of Cell Biology and Immunology
  • Awareness of documentation guidelines and Document Quality Practice Management coupled with excellent MS Office skills, know-how of TIBCO Spotfire would be advantageous
  • Professional knowledge of Cell Culture comprising of primary cell cultures, antibiotic free culture, culture maintenance and handling large scale culture
  • Strong understanding of analytical assays including cell count, viability and Microscope Morphology skills, preferably with familiarity to Fluorescence Microscopy
  • Experience with FACS and the isolation of specific cell type through tissue dissection and in large scale
  • Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • Reporting directly to the Cell Process Development team head and collaborating with an inter-disciplinary team in an international environment
  • Analysing data generated in the analytics team and during process development for both large and small-scale experiments
  • Generating data tables and graphs created in TIBCO Spotfire for PowerPoint presentations
  • Observing and participating in cell culture and cell isolation activities for process development using human primary cells from eyes and blood
  • Following the entire cell process from start to finish including cryopreservation after cell culture and gene-modification of the cells
  • Adhering to the required standards for working in a BSL2 environment
