My client is a well-regarded industry information provider. They currently require a minimum of two Implementation Managers for their ongoing transformational requirements.

The main thrust of the role is as follows:

Supporting the timely take-up and enable a great colleague and customer experience of the technology changes delivered by the Global Infrastructure and Digital Workplace programmes.

As an Implementation Manager, your skill in implementation planning, organisation of implementation readiness and change management will be critical for supporting our business colleagues and customers to understand, be ready for, and excel in new ways of working aligned to our ambitious and exciting Global Infrastructure and Digital Workplace programmes.

You will be credible, resilient, enthusiastic and engaging with a strong background in managing business implementation of end-user technologies. Experience in large scale transformation programmes with significant technical component would be helpful, but the emphasis is on ensuring a great experience for colleagues participating in business change.

Reporting to the Global Implementation Manager and using the company's project management and change methodology, you will work closely with business teams, internal programme work streams and Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Manage all aspects of implementation planning and readiness for GI2 and DWP projects
  • Ensure great colleague change experience from technology deployments
  • Apply the company's Change Management approach and plans during business implementation
  • Work with the Global Implementation Manager and work-stream project managers to plan, align and generate detailed implementation plans
  • Ensure that a Business Change Impact Assessment is prepared for every deployment
  • Working with the Programme Communications Lead, ensure an approved communications plan is in place
  • Ensure training plans and materials are in place, relevant to the technology being deployed
  • Manage implementations, resolving or escalating related issues
  • Manage transition of training, change and communications materials to technology and business teams post go-live
