Are you a Business Analyst with good understanding of fund reporting and performance?
If so then our client, a global asset management house has an exciting opportunity to join their team for an initial contract of 6 months.
This role can be based in Edinburgh or London, although regular travel to Edinburgh will be necessary.
Core requirements:
- A clear understanding of GIPS Reporting and Composite building
- Previous experience of system implementation, testing and dealing with vendors
- Previous experience of BISAM B-One composites management tool (Essential)
- Must come from an asset management environment
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Business analysis skills
- Previous experience of Statpro Composites (Desirable)
Core responsibilities:
- Review and understand all GIPS calculation and reporting processes and be able to provide support to these processes.
- Create functional requirements for automating manual processes and to improve existing processes
- Work with the solutions and development teams to manage the complete delivery
- Work with the business teams to document requirements
- Work with test resources to create test plan and support integration testing and user acceptance testing
- Understand the different calculation models, inputs to calculations, benchmark data usage, composite construction process, disclosure maintenance process and performance data distribution processes
- Review all business and technical requirements, design, and testing information to ensure quality output that meets stated business needs.
