Description

My client, a large government organisation are currently seeking an Estates Surveyor to take on an initial 12 month contract. The work is to be based in the Lincoln/Northamptonshire area and some travel will be involved (approx. 1 day per week between sites.)

Role Overview:

As an Estates Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the estates team. You will be involved in a wide range of work, including a national programme, looking after various operational projects, managing a diverse land portfolio and be involved in the acquisition and compensation programme for major capital works.

The Estates service is committed to delivering a professional service that exceeds customer expectations, through an innovative approach which delivers value for money.

Experience required:

  • Estates Surveyor qualified as a Chartered Surveyor (either MRICS or AssocRICS)
  • Post qualification experience, preferably with rural background
  • A background in utilities
  • Strong communication/influencing skills and the ability to negotiate

The successful applicant will be involved with some large construction projects where they will be given the opportunity to use their influencing and negotiation skills.
