Senior R&D Engineer (Excitation System Design) (m/f)

Main tasks:
- UNITROL 6000 system architect
- Technical responsibility for the excitation system designs and support for strategical cooperation
- Converter portfolio development lead, IP search, invention and patents
- Technical concepts, functional designs, including function descriptions
- System and components verification and type tests
- Defines dimensioning guidelines for complete systems, inputs for UNIsmart
- Support for sales process including tender documents
- Organizing and coordination 4 Level Support
- R&D sub project management and active support for PM on technical side to align the 2 and 5 years roadmap
Main qualifications
- Solid degree in electrical engineering (Master`s or PHD) combined with profound work experience in relevant fields
- Strong customer orientation
- Deep skills in high power electronics
- High self-management and leadership skills
- Fluency in English, German language would be beneficial
