One of my clients based in Stockholm is currently looking for a English Speaking Solution Architect/
Demand Manager to join them in November for an initial 12 months contract.
The position as Solution Architect/Demand Manager is placed in the service area Finance & Accounting within the Business Support Functions division at XX IT.
As Solution Architect/Demand Manager you will be working in different demands or projects either as Solution Architect or Demand Manager or in a combination of the two roles. You will contribute in designing and implementing future IT solutions within finance and accounting that should meet our expansion challenges, new legal requirements and develop our business.
Work tasks
- Solution Architect
- Participate in and lead solution discussions in the finance and accounting area.
- Work in close collaboration with business resources and area architects to ensure that our solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with XX's overall IT strategy and architecture guidelines.
- Give architectural support in both projects and maintenance.
- Collaborate with architects in other areas such as logistics and master data.
Demand Manager
- Be responsible for the overall scope of smaller demands and drive the demands from requirement to implementation.
- Activities include the creation of business case, scoping, staffing, detailed planning, stakeholder analysis and communication, documentation, issue management and escalation, status reporting and the planning and execution of workshops, testing, cutover, go-live and handover.
- Ensure that the demands are delivered within the stipulated time frame.
- Actively work to ensure the success of cross functional initiatives and projects.
- Drive and support decision making
Specific competence
- Worked as a solution architect in cross functional initiatives/projects
- Project management experience from implementing solutions in the finance and accounting area.
- Interest in and understanding of both IT and business.
- Worked in large IT landscapes and complex organizations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong information management skills
- Proven capacity to work independently, take own initiatives and manage multiple, competing demands.
- Used to document IT-solutions from different perspectives
- Good communication and documentation skills in English.
