Interim Managing Director - 6 months - Newcastle upon Tyne - £700/£750 per day LTD
My client has an immediate requirement for an Interim Managing Director to join their team initially for 6 months. Reporting directly to the Chairman you will be responsible for an £85Mill turnover, multi-site business. The focus of the role will be to steady the ship through a period of change and ultimately appoint a permanent Managing Director.
The role would suit a candidate with a strong background in Construction, Outsourcing or Civils, perhaps having held a divisional role within a blue chip business.
The Interim Managing Director will oversee all aspects of the business, delivering on the long-term strategy as defined by the leadership team, establishing and delivering against the annual business plan and budget while continuing to strengthen and bolster the team.
The successful applicant will have experience running a contracting business within a related field, have outstanding commercial and financial acumen with strong leadership qualities and plenty of gravitas.
