Senior IT Procurement Analyst

For our client, one of the biggest IT Providers for the airline industry, we are currently looking for a Senior IT Procurement Analyst Software.

Requirement:

A minimum of 5 years' professional IT procurement experience and portfolio/vendor management experience is required. A must-have are sound experience with license models. Experience on e-sourcing tools (e.g. like Ariba or Coupa) in the context of Software purchasing would be a plus.

  • German and English negotiation and contract proficiency


Qualification:

The Senior IT Procurement Analyst shall be able to take over in a self-started manner complex/ sensitive procurement projects based on his several years of professional IT procurement expertise with proven track records covering all relevant IT topics.
  • Development of procurement strategies in line with corporate objectives
  • Work with IT departments on analysis, supplier assessments etc.
  • Negotiations with suppliers and joint negotiations together with IT departments
  • Analyse costs, identify opportunities, clarify business contracts, manage synergies across IT portfolio.
  • Provision of market analysis, business cases, financial analysis etc.
  • Governance and continuous process improvement of procurement processes
  • Set the strategic direction for the development of the Software Purchasing category
  • Speak with "one voice? to consistently on a global and regional level
  • Maintain deep Software category expertise through understanding and application of industry developments, marketplace trends, emerging technology, new techniques, leading practices, and shared experiences
  • Review global Software category spend to identify and implement improvements, savings and demand management opportunities
  • Manage key global vendor relationships, including addressing driving savings through innovation and overall performance measurement
  • Lead global sourcing events, including development of project work plan, category profile, category strategy, minimum requirements and evaluation criteria, solicitation documents, vendor negotiations, award recommendations, agreement implementation plans, and savings measurement
  • Manage the execution and administration of global contracts, including initiating contract amendments, renewals, and terminations
