A global Media business is looking for a bright and talented Senior Group Financial Accountant to ensure the high quality of data for reporting purposes and provision of financial accounting advice and support to Divisions and the Group

The hiring manager describes the role as:
"An interesting and dynamic role to work in a highly skilled team and deliver on a number of core finance requirements for the Group. This person will be responsible for the preparation and effective control of the production and review of the Annual and Half Year report as well as having other technical responsibilities relation to IFRS. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with non-finance people."
To successfully deliver this on this assignment you will need to have:
- An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Strong statutory accounting experience
- Worked closely with various Reporting Standards (IFRS 15/16 ideally), preferably the assessment and implementation of
- Experience with monthly/quarterly consolidation close activities
- Driven improvements in processes and procedures
