Initial 3-4 month contract with possibility of extension

Pay: up to £455 per day

About the role:

Are you interested in contributing to making a difference to the lives of people living with and affected by HIV? Are you passionate about product communications and want to be planning towards what we aim to be an industry leading launch?

The Global Communications Team is looking for someone to join the team to support:

our above brand strategic initiatives that are focussed on understanding the evolving treatment needs of people living with HIV (disease awareness comms)

the introduction of a new treatment paradigm (2-drug regimens) of HIV treatments (category comms)

an upcoming industry leading global product launch (product launch comms)

Key responsibilities:

To support the development and lead the execution of the communication plans, working closely with the Global External and Internal Product Communications Director, internal stakeholders and our agency team:

Deliver above brand communication activities to build external and internal awareness on the evolving needs of people living with HIV when considering treatment options, at global level and materials/support for LOCs

Deliver unbranded external and internal communications to support the introduction of a new treatment paradigm in HIV, at global level and materials/support for LOCs

Deliver external and internal communications to support the approval and launch of a new HIV therapy for heavily treatment experienced patients, at a global level and as well as materials to support LOCs with their local launches

Preferred Skills:

- Extensive post-graduate experience in a communications environment

- Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills

- Extensive experience of working in healthcare product communications, with product launch experience

- Extensive experience of working with disease awareness/unbranded comms

- Experience in delivering communications campaigns at global and country-level

- Excellent media skills - traditional media and social

- Strong project management skills

- Experience working with digital channels including websites and social media

- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and be able to deal with ambiguity and handle sensitive situations

- Calm under pressure, resilient and flexible

- Persuasive and personable - ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues and suppliers

- Solution oriented

- Effective, flexible team working with the ability to prioritise workload in an unpredictable environment

- High-performance behaviours: communication, innovative thinking, building relationships, teamwork

- Ideally previous experience in the field of HIV or Infectious Diseases
