Location: Leicestershire - commutable from Leicester, Nottinghamshire, Coventry and Kettering
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: Up to £16 per hour
Clearance: No Clearance required (must be willing and eligible to undergo, prior to project start date)

My client, a global Engineering organisation, is currently looking for a Material Planner to assist with improving inbound and outbound material flows The successful Material Planner will have demonstrable experience within the Engineering industry and will ideally have worked within large organisations. The role of Material Planner will require strong Inventory Management, previous experience of Supplier management and.in-depth Excel experience including Vlookups and Pivot tables. Candidates applying for the role of Material Planner must also have strong have prior working knowledge of data analysis, and ideally have experience within improving supplier relationships
Essential skills;
- Proven background as a Material Planner (ideally from a background in the Engineering industry)
- Previous experience of Excel
- Demonstrable experience of Supplier management
- Extensive experience of Inventory Management
- Significant experience with Data analysis
- Substantial experience of managing supplier relationships
Desirable;
- Previous experience within the Engineering industry would be a distinct advantage
- Experience of scheduling deliveries is highly desirable
