JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
The SAP Ariba Center of Excellence (COE) sets sales, customers and partners up for success. In that regard it drives Business Development, Solution Go to Market and Network Value Engineering (NVE) for all SAP Ariba solutions across the EMEA and MEE region. Since both SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba show an outstanding performance there is a huge demand to grow our Network Value Engineering team.
The Network Value Engineering teams provide strategic advisory in procurement and supply chain to support customer co-innovation, business transformation, and business process performance improvement programs. They lead client engagements to assess strategic goals, innovation scenarios, key opportunities for improvement, and other sources of additional economic value in the area of digital procurement, supply chain and performance management. They conduct strategic account planning sessions with clients, facilitate client workshops, and lead value-based engagements. They partner with field sales teams to identify revenue opportunities, create account strategies, and execute on sales leads. They develop strategies and develop scaled-up initiatives to increase SAP's leadership position in digital
procurement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
The NVE Associate works with and for the Network Value Engineering team at SAP [Market Unit], helping them to engage with SAP Ariba Sales teams and customers. He/she will receive specific assignments from Network Value Engineers who will guide the Associate and supervise the work. The duties of the Associate include (but are not limited to) the assistance of workshops, preparing customer presentations, helps to create a value-based strategy for technology sale and deployment, tracking sales performance, assisting with the development of industry analysis and benchmarking reports, the development of NVE content for sales teams and research work for a SAP business subject or prospect/client.

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
. Currently studying at Engineering or Business School, the candidate will follow an internship of 6 months;
. Excellent presentation and communication skills;
. Proficiency in English and at least one other European language (French, Dutch);
. Analytics Capabilities/Analysis of corporate reports (Strategy, balance sheet, P/L account);
. Good understanding of digital transformation and innovation;
. Experience working in a transformational business environment;
. Innovative Thinking;
. Team work & Collaboration experience, an open mind, result-oriented, integrity and humor;
. Knowledge of IT processes, software and IT architecture (ERP, CRM, SCM, Analytics & Reporting);
. Knowledge or experience of SAP products/services is a plus (but not necessary).
