Compliance Analyst sought by my leading investment banking client for an initial 4 month period in Belfast
Belfast - £115 per day
The Role
Reporting to the Head of the Belfast team, the position will involve a number of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Support the group on a day to day basis to ensure all backlog activities are completed accurately and to the highest standard.
- Review Pre Clearance Requests in accordance with the Employee Trading Policy
- Review and receive relevant approvals for Outside Directorships and Affiliations in accordance to the Outside Directorships and Business Interests Policy in a timely manner.
- Review Employee Trading Statements and reconcile against system (including opening mail, scanning, uploading, cross-reference against transaction and remediate and/or escalate any exception
Person specification:
- Experience of working in a detail sensitive, large service orientated organisation would be beneficial.
- Previous Investigations/Operations experience advantageous.
- Proven track record in delivering results in a challenging and changing environment.
- Exposure to/interest in the financial regulatory sector.
- The commitment to learn how to develop, implement and run a series of proactive surveillance tools.
- Highly organised and methodical with close attention to detail.
