Delivery Manager - IT Asset Management

Contract. Dublin - Full time. Euros P/D. Global Retailer. 9 months

The Delivery Manager will play a critical role in the design, selection and delivery of a new IT Asset Management solution. As the Project Manager for IT Asset Management you drive the project from initiation to closure. Part of your role will be leading and working with the Operations team with the development of ITAM tooling.

Key Requirements:

  • Build a strategic business case for an IT Asset Management solution
  • Manage the design and implementation of IT Asset Management
  • Determine and promote the usage of industry standard Asset Management that align with the enterprise design principles
  • Provide subject matter expertise in ITAM
  • Implement technology specific best practices and standards
  • Leads functional and/or technical requirements gathering sessions
  • Evaluation of features and produce comprehensive analysis and recommendations that supports ITAM
  • Deliver agreed ITAM roadmap
  • Produces and maintains detailed documentation including design and maintenance

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • At least 10 years' experience in Technology environment
  • Qualified or Strong Experience using Service Delivery methodologies to support Asset Management (ITIL etc)
  • Project management experience
  • Familiar with; IT Asset Management Principles (ITAM)
  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Ability to Create and Implement Process's to support delivery of the responsibilities
  • Ability to manage expectations and any issues that may arise
  • Experience of senior stakeholder management
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence others at different levels
  • Excellent communications skills coupled with a thorough knowledge of the business
  • Proven team player in working with one's peers to ensure that delivery of service is timely, efficient and of high quality
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills together with the ability to deliver customer presentation skills to board level
