Vivid are currently recruiting for a 6 month contract for an Automotive Consultancy company based in the West Midlands looking to add Quality Consultants to their team in all aspects following the acquisition of a large OEM manufacturing project.
Rate: Negotiable
Duration: 6 months
Suitable for: Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, Quality Lead, Quality Specialist, Senior Quality Engineer
The Role
- As Quality Engineer you will have strong process management experience
- The Quality Engineer will be fully conversant with ISO 9001:2015 (IATF is a plus)
- Experience with Continuous Improvement Management
- Supporting the UK office/plant regarding preparation of ISO certification
- Review the corporate ISO instructions, review of content of the instructions
- Supporting the upper board for general definition regarding ISO chapter 4,5,6
- Create instructions on a high-level (maybe also working instructions if necessary)
The Person
- You will be a quality engineer who has worked within the Automotive industry,
- The Quality Engineer will have extensive experience of implementing and the application requirements for ISO 9001:2015
- As Quality Engineer you will ideally have experience with automotive quality standards (IATF16949).
- You will be fully conversant with quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, Control Plans and PPAP's.
- Ideally degree educated - equivalent qualifications will also be considered.
