Interim Procurement Manager (Manufacturing)
Location: West Midlands
Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)
Daily Rate: up to £400 per day (negotiable for the right candidate)

Working for a leading multinational manufacturing organisation we have a fantastic opportunity for an Interim Procurement Manager to facilitate the transfer of the procurement of key direct commodities from an international location into the organisations Group Procurement function.
Reporting into the Group Head of Procurement you will hold the overall responsibility for the purchasing of specific commodities with an annual spend of over £50 million per annum.
To be successful in this role applicants must have a communication style and gravitas that allows them to coach, influence and integrate at a senior level through strong relationships both in the UK and internationally.
Please note whilst this role is office based where will be significant travel expectations with the flexibility to work from home when possible.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in procurement of direct commodities within a multinational environment.
- Ability to work in multi-site, multi-cultural and cross-geographical organisation.
- Highly effective communication, influencing, negotiating, stakeholder and supplier management skills.
- Commercial awareness alongside strategic mind-set.
- Desirable: Exposure of working within a manufacturing/production environment.
