Description
System Engineer with profound Azure and PowerShell knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or similar professional certifications
- 3+ years' experience in configuring, deploying, and running cloud-based infrastructure, ideally with Azure and in a finance related field
- Strong background in automation and configuration management as well as with code and script languages in PowerShell and Terraform
- Good knowledge of Windows-based environments, PaaS (Docker and Kubernetes) as well as DevOps, Agile principles and best practices
- Solid analytical and communication skills coupled with a flexible and motivated mind-set
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Ensuring a secure infrastructure environment, production stability and performance
- Configuring, testing, rolling out and automating cloud-based systems
- Initiating and monitoring measures to remedy and analyse outages and defective states
- Supporting the development teams by building software that is easy to run, monitor and fix
