My high profile banking client is currently recruiting for a Reconciliations Operations analyst to join their team based in Chester Until April 2019. Some Training will be provided. Graduate Applications Welcome
We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated professional within F&O Clearing Operations Group.
The role is specifically for an Officer within the EMEA Reconciliations team and sits within the EMEA Futures and Options and OTC Clearing Operations group in Chester, UK. The group has a market operation which comprises of Clearing, Deliveries, Regulatory/Exchange and Process Control, Strategy, Client Service and Documentation teams. This structure is replicated regionally in Chicago and Singapore processing trading activity over 60+ exchanges.
Role Description
Responsible for the day to day reconciliation within ETD, cleared & processed by the Operation teams, including:
- Reconciliation of open positions and cash on the company's books and records vs Exchange/CCP's
Identification and escalation of trade and cash breaks
Escalating discrepancies in a concise and timely manner.
Partners Closely with Technology, Operations Strategy to help drive change
Works closely with others across the organization to ensure consistent awareness of changing F&O and OTC Clearing environment.

Strong communication & negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of seniority

Good level of competence in Excel and Outlook
