Marketing Manager (DC Pensions experience required) - HSBC
This is an initial 6 month contract based in London
Role Purpose
- Responsible for the delivery of effective and innovative Client Propositions (CP)/Marketing activity that supports the UK DC pensions proposition
- Develop and implement a programme of member communications (B2C)
- Develop and deliver activity and materials to support the UK Business Pensions team (B2B)
- Support initiatives within the UK Propositions team
Role Context
- The role holder will have to work closely with Segments, Sales, Investments and Product Specialists to develop the appropriate strategy and to gain buy-in for strategic content development
- There is a requirement to establish efficient processes to support the delivery of Client Propositions activity (eg compliance)
- The role must be credible in the eyes of AMG management and is responsible for installing a strong ethos among team members
Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
- Solid asset management industry experience
- Proven experience within the DC ( Defined Contributions) Pensions space
- Understanding of investment philosophy & process, investment products and financial markets and the ability to apply this effectively to client materials
- Demonstrable project management, activity management and planning skills - coordinating multiple concurrent projects and ensuring timely delivery to all audiences within budget
- Ability to prioritise and organise effectively; proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects to successful implementation and to make effective decisions when faced with change and competing priorities
- Working understanding of AMG and products/capabilities and credibility
- Strong communication skills and working knowledge of communications processes and production/delivery methodologies
- Ability to deal with fund managers/senior management at all levels
- Ability to support other priorities within the Client Propositions area
