Strategic Pricing Manager - Leeds - £400 per day - 6 months
One of the UK's leading financial service firms need to hire a Strategic Pricing Manager into its Leeds office.
The principal responsibility is to be accountable for all aspects of a pricing programme designed to set up pricing aimed at new products/services, facilitate migration to new delivery channels and identify/execute monetization opportunities.
A fundamental aim is to balance the needs to remediate with client impact and financial impact.
With great scope for creativity and impact, the contractor would work on new product pricing, pricing for the significant volumes of migration pricing and monetization of identified opportunities.
Key skills and experience are as follows
- Sustainable commercial pricing strategies for existing - and prospective - clients.
- Mindset and operation of B2B sales teams at challenger' brands.
- Demonstrable track record of utilising commercial acumen and/or analytical tools to generating incremental value from clients' prices, and pricing for sales opportunities.
- Advanced Excel skills including macros and Access
- Industry experience highly preferred but not essential.
- Proven stakeholder management experience.
- Proven ability to set milestones and deliver against them.
- Experience with acquiring and manipulating data in business information/data warehouse systems (eg Spotfire, Tableau and Cognos).
- Highly proficient in analysing data and commercial models in Microsoft Excel including macros and Access.
This contract is based in central Leeds and offers a daily rate up to £400 per day for an initial 6 months followed by extensions.
