Financial Analyst | Northampton | 3 months Initial
Our client is a large financial services organisation based in Northampton. There is an opportunity for an individual to join the company on a 3 month initial contract, in which you will support initial scoping and evaluation of a new project, in accordance with the organisation's Finance Change model, ensuring assumptions and risks are documented.
Requirements:
- Interpretation of project requirements and their impact on Finance processes and controls, highlighting any potential risks to the business.
- Clear articulation of Financial Control and reconciliation requirements (high level and detailed) for new and existing systems, to ensure financial integrity is maintained.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Thorough knowledge of current accounting policies and procedures
- Practical knowledge of financial control and reconciliation and working with Financial Ledger and Reconciliation Systems eg SAP General Ledger
- Strong analytical and process reengineering skills
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of integrated office desktop tools and web based applications (eg Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Project Management/Implementation Methodology Qualifications
- Knowledge of Financial Services (preferred)
