Management Accountant
A Management Accountant is required to work on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Basildon.
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence business.
Overview of the Management Accountant contract role
Provide support in preparing the consolidated Group Accounts. Liaising with UK & Overseas subsidiaries to gather HR information and consolidate for corporate reporting. Liaising with Intercompany subsidiaries to agree quarter end balances. Support divisional reporting teams in the financial control and reporting of their management accounts. Preparation of financial information for Insurance premium calculations
Key skills required for the Management Accountant
- Qualified Accountant (ACMA/ACA/ACCA) or QBE
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, Hyperion Financial Management Systems).
- Dealt with issues facing an engineering or manufacturing business with the ensuring conventions around WIP
- Experience of developing and integrating systems and processes to provide efficiencies
The role is based in Basildon.
