Finance Lead, Finance Manager, Head of Finance, ACCA, CIPFA is required by our public sector/government client based in London
Experience gained within the Public Sector/Government during a period of transformation is essential
You will be responsible for the following:
Ensuring that the client have the financial support they need
Developing financial policy, processes and framework, and functional standards, including third party relationships and systems requirements
Essential experience required:
A recognised accountancy qualification, eg ACCA, CIPFA, and relevant financial management experience.
A strong track record of working in a similar financial role, within the Public sector, during periods of transformational change such as the start-up phase of major programmes
Experience of developing processes for complex and interconnected programmes with many soft elements, with critical interfacing requirements, but still keeping the overall scheme as simple as practical
Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral); building and maintaining effective working relationships across a complex business allowing stakeholders to contribute to process design
Experience of working successfully in an area of high political sensitivity, with evidence of ability to handle people and information appropriately
