SAP Project Manager (ERP Implementation, roll-out)

A SAP Project Manager (ERP Implementation, roll-out) is urgently required for a long-term, freelance assignment with a market leading client based in Czech Republic. Full time remote work is possible for this assignment.

The SAP Project Manager (ERP Implementation, roll-out) will IDEALLY have 70%+ of the following skills and experience:

  • Good experience of SAP/ERP implementations/roll-out programs and with experience in PMO activities.
  • Project planning and reporting experience for large SAP projects
  • Ability to review and interpret data both in the form of project management-level charts and reports, and also as raw data
  • Experience as a user of all of the following tools:
  • MS Power BI
  • MS Excel (ideally Macro development)
  • MS PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Project Server
  • MS SharePoint
  • PMP or equivalent project managerial certification
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of regulated environments is an advantage
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must
  • Candidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than three months

The SAP Project Manager (ERP Implementation, roll-out) will be responsible for activities including:

  • Create project plans and review status and accurate representation in project planning tools
  • Ensure consistency of project plans across planning tools
  • Manage changes in project plans and support impact identification and resolution
  • Support and conduct project plan reviews with projects and cross-project teams
  • Communicate actively to projects, cross-team leads, program management or integration management - identify escalation needs
  • Create reports on various project aspects for presentation and discussion in status meetings and with project and program management
  • Consult projects and teams in report creation and data preparation and management as well as provide support in report data interpretation and derivation of appropriate actions
  • Support offshore team in report creation and ensure quality of created and published reports
  • Create new and update existing reports to fulfil business and project requirements and ensure program level needs are met
  • Creating and updating reports in the current reporting toolset partially includes creating and understanding complex MS Excel formulas as well as MS Power BI
