Interim Group Financial Controller - 6 months - Warwickshire - £ per day LTD
My Warwickshire based client has an immediate requirement for an Interim Group Financial Controller to join their team to support through a period of flux. You will oversee the general ledger, revenue recognition, procurement and shared services accounting functions for the EMEA region. There is the potential of this role moving permanent for the right candidate
Key responsibilities - Interim Group Financial Controller
- Lead and develop the employees of the accounting shared services group, supporting numerous entities within EMEA
- Plan, direct and coordinate financial reporting, revenue recognition, fixed assets, accruals, rebates, cash, payables, procurement and collections
- Undertake monthly, quarterly and year end close procedures reporting under US GAAP
- Ensure SOX compliance
- Complete monthly Balance Sheet variance analysis with commentary
- Review month end Profit and Loss reports with Finance Manager's for their respective divisions
- Communicate closely with internal and external audit
- Ensure accuracy of reporting and financial integrity within the financial systems is maintained
- Cash flow reporting
- Managing and reporting on aged debt
Key experience - Interim Group Financial Controller
- Group Financial Controller experience in a Medium/Large business with a US parent
- Significant experience of SOX and US GAAP
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent
- Management of a large transnational team
