Delivering core fraud reporting and analytics within the Fraud department across plastic and non-plastic products.
At a high level the role forms part of a wider team whose purpose is to help collate and analyse fraud data to aid in the pursuit of fraudsters. The overall aim of the function is to minimise fraud losses for both the bank and our customer by ensuring we have effective fraud prevention and detection systems and process in place and that these systems and processes are kept up to date and accurate. The special projects team focuses on the aftermath of a fraud attack - detecting MOs, carrying out investigations and interrogating fraud systems to produce results to evidential standard.
Taking accountability for key processes and data productions, this role involves a diverse range of financial service knowledge and technical expertise.
- Manages self to ensure adherence to risk and compliance policies and relevant external regulatory framework
- Support Change by producing analysis to support projects/scheduling of implementations, liaising with technical departments, users and other colleagues as required.
- Deputise for line manager as and when required
- Own delivery of data production to support law enforcement requests and analysis.
- Accountability for undertaking fraud analytics and producing recommendations in relation to key loss drivers, fraud strategy optimisation and new fraud trends
- Design and delivery of MI to be used in internal and external forums. Ensure output is clearly documented, conforms to schema and is understood by recipient
