Description
Beacon Hill Technologies is currently searching for a VMO/Contract Manager for a client located near Willoughby, Ohio. This is a long term contract position.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to understand and interpret software, hardware, and IS services contract language
- Monitor and manage the life cycle of a contract
- Liaison between IS and Procurement and Legal resources
- Ensure specific contract deliverables are acceptable
- Own contract change and renewal process
- Escalate contract issues as needed
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in business or related field or equivalent years of experience is required
- 3+ years' experience with IS contract management and administration
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities with a shared services organization and model
- Strong understanding of contracts and contract administration
- Demonstrated ability to work with others, to lead and affect process and organizational change and improvements
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, with ease and comfort working with senior executives
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and large contracts is a plus
- Experience working within Ariba is considered a plus
- Works well in a team environment
