Description

Compliance Manager with profound customs and trade processes knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • 2+ years' experience in this area and certifications such as AEO or CTPAT
  • Solid understanding in valuation, simplifications and authorisations as well as classification of local HS digits and duty and tax payments
  • Competency of recordkeeping and special procedures including bonded WH and duty suspensions coupled with strength import and export licenses and declarations
  • Proficiency in broker management and performance management execution in compliance with export control for example embargos, sanctions and dual use goods
  • Languages: fluent English both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • Handling and supervising global trade compliance programs using internal controls with CTC controls in NFCM PIN 13 Framework
  • Judging whether the re-audit on high risk countries are necessary as well as understanding the customs and trade issues within the program assessment
  • Assuring the corrective actions and recommendations are monitored and closed, the status report of the project is up-to-date and the completion of the implementation is performed
  • Providing executive summary to the global head CTC and working closely with local customs and trade compliance in order to solve issues accordingly
