Cash Flow Manager - Chesterfield - 6 months initially

My Chesterfield based client is currently looking to recruit a Cash Flow Manager for an initial 6 month contract.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

  • Prepare timely liquidity positions informing authorisers of likely investment decisions
  • Fund/defund client investments and corporate deposits to meet daily liquidity requirements
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed for all trading transactions and handed over to the Back Office
  • Draw down on the Working Capital Loan facility producing the necessary documents and email to AMEY and BIS
  • Confirm the daily movement on the loan and agree the payment or receipt prepared by the Back Office
  • Calculate the expected interest to be received from the investments and inform the Back Office explaining any differences from actuals received
  • Business expert for all aspects of Notes Circulation Scheme (NCS), ensuring the effective management of the NCS Reporting & Accounting process assuring all contract and business requirements are met
  • Business Expert on client cash flow forecasting (client settlements and cash)
  • Manage the cash cycle forecast process to ensure the business has sufficient information regarding liquidity
  • Be the First point of contact within POL for Cashflow advice and analysis â€" provide expert input to cashflow related projects and product changes
  • Control and manage the training and timetable for Cashflow training
  • Work with product managers, clients and customers to produce long term client settlement forecasts

You will also have the following skills and experience;

  • Good understanding of accounting and qualified AAT professional
  • Ideally 3 years experience in a commercial finance environment.
  • Good understanding of finance systems, (particularly SAP and WBS project management)
  • Computer literacy/numeracy with good Excel, Word, Sharepoint and Powerpoint skills
  • Experience of managing a team and developing people
  • Good understanding of accounting and qualified AAT professional
