Financial Accountant - Glasgow - 10 months - £205 per day

Our pubic sector client is looking for a fully qualified accountant to join their team on a 10 month contract. The primary purpose of the role is to prepare and produce the group's statutory accounts. The post holder will provide support to the Financial Accounting Manager and ensure corporation tax and VAT returns are appropriately prepared and submitted.
Essential Skills:
- Chartered accountancy qualification with a major accounting body (CCAB or equivalent)
- Experience of preparing high quality financial information to corporate level
- Knowledge of Companies Act and International reporting accounting standards
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
Desirable Skills:
- Use of Agresso Business World
- Experience of dealing with large budgets
Business travel requirements will be minimal and infrequent.
