EMEA Event Manager - London - contract - 6-12 Months.

My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced EMEA Event Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

My client is looking for an EMEA Event Manager to join their London Office as part of a team that provides solutions to protect customers data from a wide range of internal and external threats. My client product is a market leader in information security services with more than 4,000 clients worldwide spanning North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and the Pacific Rim.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Strategise, develop, execute and optimise go-to-market event plans designed to increase sales growth and expand market share and brand awareness in EMEA. You will be responsible for a portfolio of events across EMEA including three hosted flagship events across a varied events calendar, including conferences, dinners and roundtables. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and working alongside another event team member, you will manage a schedule of events that are delivered on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard. Ideal candidates are self-motivated with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, global environment. Candidates will also have a strong understanding of Marketing's role in the different stage of the buying cycle and reporting on Marketing impact and return on investment for the business.

Other responsibilities include:

Driving brand awareness, pipeline and revenue through event activity (hosted and sponsored). You will also manage all events from conception, execution to ongoing improvement and refinement.

Successful candidates will have In-depth understanding of events and how to tie those to company and business goals, customer requirements, and knowledge of competitor practices. You will have experience in forecasting, preparing, and managing the budgeting process in relation to event calendar. You will be able to build strong relationships with key third party suppliers and negotiate best value packages for the business. You will produce innovative events and refine existing processes to move to the next level in EMEA. You will have an ability to work independently & work cross functionally in order to meet deadlines. You will have strong experience interfacing with C-level clients and internal executives. Candidates will have Steller organisation, prioritisation and planning skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
