Description
Hanson Regan are currently looking for a SAS IFRS 17 Solution technical lead for a 4+ month project based in Paris.
Mission or Responsibilities:
- Understand the business & technical requirements from the use cases, non functional requirements, architecture blue print for data management, Calculation & Reporting, Accounting & Integration.
- Establish the application architecture in collaboration with the Functional Lead and the technical architect. Ensure infrastructure setup, software installation etc., are managed as per plan
- Contribute to the overall and detailed project planning and execution.
Review the deliverables of the development team:
- Solution impact assessments across SAS IFRS 17 Product suite: SAS IRM, SAS RFW, SAS Data management layer, SAS Data model, ETL, SAS Visual Analytics, Workflow etc.,
- Solution design/configuration design including solution for defects/enhancements
- Scalability, robustness, performance etc.,
- Review and ensure compliance to quality standards as agreed with the Client
- Documentation of solution
. Identify improvement areas and propose approaches to improve solution, performance, scalability etc.,
. Champion technical architecture including solution design principles, technical/architectural choices made. Prepare and provide decision support material to collaborate on the decision making with the Client
- Review the test strategy and lead the technical support for the test phase. Define the approach for performance tests along with the Client architecture team along with the Editor.
- Work closely within the agile work cell with the Product owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst other developers and Testers. Participates and contributes constructively to team meetings, Agile ceremonies as required.
- Propose automation possibilities and improvements in the solution.
- Enhances professional knowledge and skills by attending training, seminars, workshops, conferences and reviewing published literature and best practices.
- Co-ordinate with all stakeholders internal and external to the agile work cells to ensure progress towards the goal. Provide timely and precise status reports. Identifies risks and issues with proposed mitigations & solutions to enable management decisions.
- Manage good relationship with the Team and the Client.
Skills:
- SAS IRM back bone and the IFRS 17 Accounting standards.
- SAS IRM, BRM, RFW, Base, Macros and SAS Data Integration is key.
