Description

An industry-leader in the generation of renewable energy is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for their power generation facility in Oxfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, independent organisation that operate a portfolio of facilities across the United Kingdom.

Managing a diverse team of five engineering professionals, as Maintenance Manager you will be tasked with ensuring that all resource is utilised efficiently and effectively across the portfolio of facilities under your remit. This will involve minimalizing downtime and providing effective solutions as and when required.

In your role as Maintenance Manager, you will liaise with the operational management team to implement an effective maintenance support strategy, prioritising tasks and delegating resource as appropriate. Holding responsibility for sourcing and maintaining stock of essential equipment, you will monitor cost control and budgeting, manage your recruitment and identify necessary training where required.

The role will encompass developing method statements, work instructions, risk assessments and procedures, as well as devising and implementing a thorough Preventative Maintenance Programme. It is important that you are able to regularly commute to their Oxfordshire facility, as well as other facilities as when required.

You will:

  • Have mechanical maintenance engineering experience within an industrial environment.
  • Possess a working knowledge of a variety of machines and equipment such as pump systems, pneumatic/hydraulic plant and conveying equipment.
  • Have experience of working within a regulated environment in a process-engineering industry.
  • Be able to commute to their Oxfordshire facility.
