World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for an IT Innovation and Business Intelligence Manager specifically to manage the portfolios Smart Automation and Data Platforms in the Finance Business.

About the Role:

The IT Innovation and Business Intelligence Manager is accountable for identifying and delivering bottom line value to the business through both the implementation of innovative new IT solutions and harvesting of existing IT assets to enable the achievement of the business strategy, value drivers and KPIs.

  • Relationship management
  • Business intelligence
  • Integrated Business and IT strategy
  • IT Portfolio Management
  • Value Generation
  • Innovation

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Act as a focal point for Smart Automation opportunities
  • Liaise with relevant IT Managers and business stakeholders to identify, assess and scope Smart Automation opportunities
  • Assess the overlaps and synergies between identified opportunities to simplify and standardise the opportunities
  • Liaise with relevant Business Architecture stakeholders to drive the selection of the most appropriate technology solution
  • Drive development of business cases for Smart Automation opportunities ready to progress
  • Maintain Smart Automation dashboard across Finance and report to leadership as required

About You:

  • A commercial mindset coupled with a strong interest in the business
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to shape and translate a technology enabled vison into delivery of successful business outcomes
  • Gravitas and excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to engage and influence up to Senior Executive level in a complex organization
  • Ability to build and lead high performing IT natural teams aligned around driving greater business value
  • Resilience, courage and the willingness to challenge and manage business expectations
  • Experience in developing business cases and in managing IT budgets through the IT demand management and planning process
  • Typical Experience: 8 - 10 years in IT with prior IT management experience.
  • Strong preference: Finance background (educations and/or experience)
