My client, a leading agency in Kent, 45mins on train from Central London is on the hunt for Social Content Manager to help lead on several of their leading accounts.

My client works with some of the world's leading brands strategically identify their place in the vast and complex world of online branded content to deliver creatively original and culturally impactful work that moves people.

The role...

As Social Content Manager, you'll be able to confidently lead our clients across a variety of key social-centric accounts. You will be someone who can bring fresh strategic and creative thinking combined with sound and up to date knowledge of what makes great content, in social media and in the wider digital space.

Internally, you'll be charged with managing the social output for various world class brands. You'll be responsible for ensuring the strategy, assets, copy, execution, and paid performance of these brands is flawless.

You'll work very closely alongside our creative and client services teams to ensure originality and effectiveness runs throughout all of our deliverables.

You'll ideally have some experience of writing insight and data-led content and social media strategy that is actionable across Owned, Earned and Paid channels to ladder up to robust, category-defining presences on social media and other digital channels.

Key experience required...

  • Have at 4-5 year's agency experience in a social media, content management, digital insights or community management role
  • Have a keen eye for detail and be a stickler for correct grammar
  • Be able to confidently adopt a brand's tone of voice and write engaging copy with flair
  • Have in depth knowledge about key social platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram
  • Have experience activating paid media in the social space - preferably through Facebook Business Manager or working alongside a Media Agency
  • Have experience in managing content through social platforms such as Sprinklr or Social Bakers
  • Know a thing or two about strategy and proposal development
  • Be comfortable mentoring and guiding junior members of the team
  • Have experience of the creative briefing process and be able to work alongside creative, design and art direction to achieve the best work possible
  • Bring proven client relationship management and account development experience
  • Have in-depth experience of reporting and data analysis
  • Be able to strategically set and activate against robust KPIs
  • Have worked on social coverage and content creation at live events
