Description
Due to an increase in project work our large national client has a 6 month contract requirement for a Project Engineer based in their location in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. We are considering both Junior and more experienced applicants for the post. You'll be reporting directly to our client's Project Manager and their Design Manager.
This post is suited to an individual with a background in Electrical or Mechanical. ie Electrical installation design that involves mechanical components. Design of BMS (Building Management Systems) or plant rooms that involve boiler and valve control.
Skills of interest
- Electrical/Mechanical background
- Cable Schedules & Containment Layouts - electrical installed systems (tray, trunking, SWA cables cable schedules.
- AutoCad Experience - 2D
- Technical Manuals - Experience in putting together technical manuals and user guides.
- HSE Basics - Basic understanding of RAMS and CDM Requirements.
- Project Planning/Resource Loading
- PLC Experience Control Panels
- P&ID Documents
The successful applicant will require a Drivers license, a car and SSSTS Card (or JIB Card), again the role is suited to reading the P&ID's produced for valve controlled systems.
