Quality Engineer is required for urgent contract position in Rugby with one of our client which is a global IT Consulting organisation based in UK.
Skills
- Work closely and connect with Manufacturing, internal Quality teams - attend all key production and quality meetings.
- Work with supplier on root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Monitor Corrective Action Implementation at Supplier to Resolve any Deficiencies identified by the Audits/product NC.
- Resolve NCR (Non Conformance Report) generated on material delivered to production or site and customer issues and track Cost of Failure (COF) and recovery for all supplier confirmed NCRs and customer issues.
- Assure supplier is complying with CTQ specification requirements for process capability data analysis.
- Conduct Quarterly Supplier Scorecard Quality reviews.
- Work closely with Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Engineering to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements.
- Work improvement on the top 5-10 supplier quality issues impact the site in quality, severity, and cost of Quality.
- Develop supplier performance tool to drive supplier quality monthly reviews & QMRs.
- Work with Global SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) team to establish quality plans and Firewalls/poke yoke processes at top issues suppliers.
- Conduct Audits/product NC
- Connect with supplier on root cause analysis and corrective action implementation and monitor
- Be responsive and support corrective Action Implementation at Supplier to resolve any Deficiencies identified.
- Strong experience in Supplier Quality Engineering for Fabrication & Machining commodities
- Experience in First Piece & Pilot lot qualifications.
