Description

Under the direction of the Head, Training Branch, the incumbent will perform duties including the following:

-Manage the preparation and delivery of theoretical and practical training on Deployable IS (Information Systems) Infrastructure Technologies, including all assigned services and associated capabilities or systems.
-Supervise the alignment of course documentation and material with current Bi-Strategic Command (Bi-SC) Directives for Individual Training.
-Manage training of assigned instructor staff to ensure readiness for the complex network protocols employed with NATO Communication Services.
-Responsible for the integration of Deployable IS (Information Systems) Infrastructure matters in other courses as required.
-Supervise preparation, update, and alignment of assigned courses with CIS Security and Service Management and Control services.
-Supervise and conduct training delivery in a Mobile Training Team (MTT) and in E-learning courses where required.
-Supervise application of the NCISS Quality Assurance Policies for students and assigned instructors.
-Coordinate O&M Level 1 and 2 on Deployable IS (Information Systems) Infrastructure training systems and associated equipment including Preventive Maintenance Inspections an O&M Level 3 and 4 with related stakeholders within and outside of the Agency.
-Conducts NCI Agency business processes to include Project Management, Time Accounting and Service Management.
-Perform any other duties as required.
-The employee may be required to undertake deployments in support of military operations and exercises, and/or TOY assignments, both within and outside NATO boundaries in excess of 30 days duration up to 183 days in any period of 547 days, and may be on short notice.
-The employee delivers and supports training on NATO Deployable CIS (DCIS), a vital asset to NATO Response Forces (NRF), the SSG/DNOC, and Federated Mission Networking (FMN). The complex Deployable IS (Information Systems) Infrastructure Technologies, require highly qualified staff members.
-Conducting training delivery in a Mobile Training Team (MTT) where required.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
