Financial Analyst
Whitehall Resources are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst for an initial 4 month contract in North West England.
Purpose:
Manage the costs incurred by the R1 and ST Programmes against the approved cost envelope, ensuring an up to date and accurate picture is available on weekly/fortnightly basis as required
Key Tasks/Deliverables:
- Track actuals incurred against each notional pot
- Regularly reforecast to completion for each notional pot and the envelope as a whole, ensuring there is a clear and up to date picture on at least a fortnightly basis
- Ensure there is a clear understanding of each of the reasons that contribute to any material movement in the forecast
- Provide relevant sensitivity analysis as applicable
- Work with the commercial team to understand the evolving costs of the TCS extension as the negotiations progress and ensure these are applied to the forecast
- Work with the pricing model analyst to understand expected 'should cost' for the new service provider and ensure these are applied to the forecast
- Work with the commercial team to understand the evolving transition and service costs as the new service provider selection process develops and ensure these are applied to the forecast
Understand the rough breakdown of the financials within the envelope into 'notional pots' and communicate to Programme Directors & SROs:
- Costs of the ST Programme Team until Programme closure
- Costs of R1 Closure Programme Team until Programme closure
- Costs of the TCS extension until service cut-over and exit complete
- Costs of transition for the new service provider
- Costs of initial period of service delivery for new service provider (until programme closure)
