Do you want to be part of the multiple upcoming onshore wind farm clusters in Spain? Do you have extensive site knowledge and experience of onshore wind farms? Do you have the necessary skills to be a leader through mobilisation into the safe operation of a wind farm?
Quanta's client is an international specialist in onshore wind power. They currently are one of the leading operators specialising in delivering large onshore wind projects.
Due to further investment and recent project awards they are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to successfully deliver against the technical and commercial aspects of their latest project from construction phase through to final commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all the construction activities for the construction of a wind project
- Responsibility for the financial performance of the project
- Take responsibility for the quality of documents submitted for review and authorization
- Constant communication with all contractors and management to always have a complete overview of the status of the project and to inform every one of its evolution
- Regular high quality report writing regarding all construction-related aspects
- Regular updating of construction schedule
- Construction invoice validation, budget and cash flow management and updating
- Management of the interaction between the various contractors and their individual constraints
- Validation and management of the construction documentation, including material supply and construction quality plans, and verification that everything is in accordance with the execution design
- Management of all administrative procedures that linked to construction.
- Preparation of the hand-over of the project to the Operation Division team.
- Someone from a construction background, with experience working on an onshore wind farm.
- Managing high value (minimum £40m) Cradle to grave projects.
- Proven knowledge of plant development through to commissioning or an engineering background.
