Our client a government department are looking for x2 Supplier Relationship Officers on an initial 6 month contract based in Nottingham.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders on a range of commercially sensitive issues. Applying experience of procurement processes whilst working closely with the existing Supplier Relationship Management function and Category Tower teams. Facilitate the provision of an efficient, effective and well-co-ordinated supplier relationship management service compliant with statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements.
The ideal candidate will have the experience and gravitas to undertake internal and external stakeholder engagement and communication with colleagues/partners of a senior level, and be comfortable working as part of a project team. Experience of working in a role involving regular engagement and communication with different stakeholder groups. Proven track record of working with suppliers and supply Chains is essential. Background within health and social care sector or other public sectors would be beneficial, but is not a pre-requisite.
