Group Financial Accounting Manager - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
I am currently recruiting for a Group Financial Accounting Manager on an initial 6 month contract based in Manchester. The Financial Accounting Manager will be responsible for all the companies financial accounting requirements including the management of global ledgers and supporting finance leads globally, as well as planning, managing and co-ordinating the company's global audit. My client is looking for a Financial Accounting Manager with experience of leading and managing small teams but is still capable with a hands on position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the team, setting goals, performing reviews and providing feedback
- Plan and review deliverable to ensure work is completed to a high standard and on time
- Plan/co-ordinate the companies audit and actively manage
- Manage global financial accounting policies, providing support to local Finance Directors across the network
- Liaise with the local and regional accounting teams throughout the network to ensure full understanding of the requirements for the consolidation process and to provide support and guidance during the accounts preparation process
Key requirements:
- ACA/ACCA
- Experience in staff management
- Experience in preparing and reviewing consolidated financial accounts in accordance with IFRS
- Partnership background or similar
- Ability to gain a good overview as well as being prepared to get involved in the detail
- Confident when communication with staff and management across all levels of the company.
