Incident Manager - Service Now - Cork/Dublin

Are you an experienced Incident Manager with exposure to working within a large IT Service Provider? If so, then please apply to a brand new contract opportunity that can be based in either Cork or Dublin for one of the world's largest IT outsourcers and technology innovators.

As Incident Manager you will play a pivotal role in assisting within the Problem Management team, working through existing and new problems in the Problem Management Queue.

This will involve engaging with users and IT Resolvers for updates, Root Cause Analysis workarounds and/or resolutions. Interactions will be via phone call, email and IM.

You will ideally have the following skill set:

  • Extensive experience of Incident Management.
  • Experience of processes and procedures within large IT Service Provider would be advantageous.
  • Experience of Service Now.
  • An eye for detail and excellent working knowledge of best practice.
  • ITIL experience - Ideally ITIL Certificated
  • Ability to assess data, identifying gaps, trends and inaccuracies, and turn that data into actionable outcomes and opportunities.
  • Ability to be calm under pressure.
