Description

A government department in Canberra is seeking the services of a Senior Test Analyst to support the testing workload for financial projects. Testing will include, but not limited to PeopleSoft and SAP systems.

Selection Criteria

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in test execution, and associated documentation (mandatory);
  • Demonstrated experience in all of the following: planning, drafting executing and finalising testing artefacts and test reports
  • Demonstrated testing experience and knowledge of one or more of the following: Financial/HR systems (mandatory);
  • Demonstrated testing experience to compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (highly desirable);
  • Experience using one or more of the following test tools: Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft Test Manager (MTM)
  • Demonstrated experience in performance testing of applications used on a global network (desirable);
  • Knowledge of Prince2 Project Management methodology, Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) (desirable);
  • Additional Selection Criteria:
  • Coordinate activities and work with a small team of testers in the provision of testing services.
  • Undertake testing activities of the applications and/or infrastructure.
  • Work with the corporate test team on appropriate documentation through different environments to production.
  • Support Project Managers in coordination activities including maintaining project artefacts.
  • Work closely with the business areas on activities such as: user acceptance testing and communications.

The role requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen and it is mandatory to hold NV1/NV2 security clearance.
