Senior Program Manager - IPMA/PMI/PMO (m/f) 100% - LucerneRole:
For one of our clients we are looking for Senior Program Manager expertise to support him on one of his current projects. The role is contract position for 10 Months (with strong possibility of extension) close to Lucerne (Rotkreuz), Switzerland.
Main / Project Tasks
- You will be given the responsibility for the program office set up (e.g. project start form, scope management, program handbook, etc.), as well as the project planning, project implementation, progress- & cost control, and project closure
- Lateral lead of 3-4 project managers within the program
- Ensure harmonized usage of PPM processes and templates
- Program planning, tracking, reporting
- Manage knowledge sharing between project teams
- Enable & support Program Risk Mgmt.
- Single point of control for program data, collected from functions (e.g. finance, SW, SI)
- Create and maintain integrated program-, resource- and budget plans
- Tactical coordination of dependencies, timelines and budgets for entire program and functions within an area or program
- Define and implement harmonized, measures, reports including key performance indicators (KPIs) for the program to enable teams and functions to measure and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness
- Handling of program meetings (organizes program meetings, sets agenda, edits and distributes minutes)
- In the absence of the Program Leader, able to run program team meetings
Requirements:
- Several years of project management experience in the diagnostic environment, focusing on product development projects, typically in the area of lab diagnostics
- You're looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and geographies.

- Prior project management experience in Agile SW development environment would be a valuable asset
managing and leading the development program for the next generation workflow automation product
- Strong delivery mind-set and ability to set-up adequate management systems
- Project management certification (e.g. IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2) is an advantage
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel - MS Project & MS Visio
- Flexibility to travel up to 20%
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the field of engineering, natural sciences or business
Languages:
- English - Advanced
- German - Good to have
