iKas International are currently recruiting for a Fund Accountant on behalf of an industry renowned, market leading investment bank who are looking to grow out their team. Sitting within one of the banks most business critical areas, this is an opportunity for an accomplished Fund Accountant who has a soli8d background providing participant level investor record keeping and the processing of investor unit/cash transactions on both forward and as-of priced funds.
You will be joining an ever growing team helping with the maintenance of pricing records, including spreads and anti-dilution approaches and payments processing and reconciliation controls. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team provides accurate and timely operational support and responsible for monitoring the oversight of daily processes and controls.
Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience delivering within an investment bank as Fund Accountant. You will have exceptional Transfer Agency/Unit dealing skills with the capability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and external deadlines.
Excellent Understanding of:
- Qualified Fund Accountant
- Excellent exposure to Transfer Agency/Unit dealing/Pricing
- Able to perform routine duties and data analysis for mutual funds or separate accounts.
- Reconcile various accounts, research variances and correct as required, conduct daily verification of capital flows, conduct ad hoc research and analysis, may perform other tasks as directed.
- Bachelors in accounting or finance or equivalent.
- Strong analysis skills, the skill to resolve complex problems and posit pragmatic solutions
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment
- Ability to lead discussions to a conclusion
