Description
Vivid Resourcing are currently recruiting for a 12 month quality management position for an aerospace client based in Gloucestershire looking to have someone ready to go for the 4th of January.
Key Accountabilities
* Responsible for the Inspection Department, delegating responsibilities and working to tight time schedules
* Responsible for the AS9100 quality management system and supplementary Customer requirements, liaising with approval bodies and customers
* Preparation and sign off of FAIRs to AS9102 and Customer requirements
* Implementing and promoting continuous improvement of the QMS
* Produce monthly and annual reports on the performance of the QMS, reporting to the Managing Director and feeding back results to the staff
* Responsible for First Off, Stage, Final and Goods Inwards Inspection of components
* Responsible for root cause, corrective and preventive actions for all customer returns, building working relationships with suppliers and customers as required
Person Specification
* Previous Quality Engineering experience within the Aerospace industry is essential
. Good working knowledge of AS9100, preferably with knowledge of Airbus, BAE Systems or other Tier 1 QMS requirements
* Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills are essential for the maintenance of QMS spreadsheets and producing QMS data and reports
* Good working knowledge of regular inspection equipment
* The ability to read and understand complex Customer drawings, and Customer Specifications
* Working knowledge of manual and CNC CMM's preferred but not essential
