Credit Risk Analyst- unsecured Portfolios, SAS

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you'll be part of it all as you join a bank that's changing everything. Well, almost. Our values and ethics have remained the same for almost 150 years. And they'll continue to drive our success, as we develop our Bank - as well as the people who'll help to shape it

Role Purpose:

  • To undertake critical analysis of complex data and provide key insights to drive understanding of our unsecured portfolio performance
  • To pro-actively lead initiatives across the Unsecured Portfolio team ensuring end to end strategies and controls are optimised

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Educated to degree level in an analytical discipline. Ideally a further high level qualification in mathematics/statistics
  • Experience of credit risk management and associated analytical techniques and practices
  • Ideally with experience in end to end credit risk management strategies (acquisistion, customer management and arrears) for unsecured products
  • Strong understanding of the consumer lending industry. This includes systems, practices along with commercial, financial and legislative requirements and issues
  • Understanding of Credit Reference Agencies and their data
  • Ability to analyse and confidently present complex data across the organisation
